Making bicycling available & accessible

Many initiatives aim to enhance the availability and accessibility of the bicycle to individuals, including several activities with the aim to enhance the mobility of women, girls and other marginalized groups by providing bicycles and bike repairs to those who cannot afford one.  We also highlight examples of bicycle design to make them more suitable for families with children, and technology (such as smart navigation systems) that makes the bicycle an easier, and possibility safer, transportation choice.
